Baby Animal Days

Friday was... date day! B and I headed to the American West Heritage Center where I could elbow out little kids and hog the baby animals. You think I'm kidding but...
I'm so not.

Umm.. only the most adorable bunny EVER! It was so much softer and plumper than the other bunnies.. and it was so hard to believe this was an animal, not a toy. SO CUTE!

B loves his bunny.

I got to hold this feisty little thang. He was adorable and seriously so tiny, I could have stuffed my bra with him and a buddy! Yes.. could have.. don't worry- I didn't.

Ahh! his little bunny feet! They're so fluffy I could die!

And we stopped by HuHot for some hot, Mongolian grill.. a bit pricey, but seriously delicious.

When we left, there was a line out the door and we overheard one lady loudly scoffing,"$12?! What a rip-off!!" and I wanted to turn around and ask her what her deal was. Seriously? It's Logan, UTAH. Be glad anyone's building anything here. And it's a Mongolian grill- you don't see those much anywhere. The only one I know of in Utah County is down in Springville. Also, it's a buffet, so if you wanted, you could get your money's worth. And, they have really good ingredients laid out, and did I mention it's unlimited? If you really had to express your displeasure, all you had to do is raise your eyebrows and discreetly walk out of there.

Instead we watched her stomp off to her (badly beaten) minivan and speed off angrily.
Hope no one died that day.

Siegfried's and Vintage Shopping

Wiener-schnitzel with sauerkraut and spaetzle. Yum!

Bratwurst with cold potato salad and cabbage.

That is one happy Braden!

Afterwards, we went vintage shopping.

Scored: Mint condition Canterbury Tales that was printed in the 1920s.
Anne of Green Gables (my favorite!) from the early 90s (haha, not so vintage, so gorgeous binding)
Emerald cocktail ring that actually fits my size 4 finger.
Signed Eisenberg earrings circa 1920s-30s.

Valentines Week

This week was really fun. We went to the Jazz vs Thunder game (Jazz won, of course), went to Elements for  Valentines Day, and went shooting on the weekend.

An Early Valentines Weekend

We had just got back into town after an amazing weekend visiting the in-laws and eating out and shopping and I was expecting an unexciting week ahead back home.

But then the doorbell rang. A huge vase of roses was left by ProFlowers with a sweet note attached. I was super confused. I asked Braden if he meant to have these flowers sent before we left and he said, Well since I can have them delivered on any day I want, that doesn't make sense, does it?

After watching me be stupid for about 30 minutes, he finally told me he was taking me on an early Valentines Day trip somewhere. I don't like secrets unless I'm in on it and I was having a meltdown because he wouldn't tell me where we were going. A cute meltdown, though.

He hinted that we were staying at the MGM Grand because they were having a big event that weekend. He hopped in the shower and I searched on their website and couldn't find it. And then it hit me! I was staring right at it but my brain wouldn't believe it: he was taking us to the Lady Gaga concert!! I screamed like a crazy person and jumped in the shower, clothes and all, to hug the crap out of him and jump up and down.

Our room at the MGM Grand, so luxurious! Not pictured, HUGE flat screen tv and mini bar.

They were general admission tickets and we were in the front row!

Ending the crazy and fun-filled week with some good old Korean food at MyungGa in SLC.
